About the winery

Location and Character:
In the heart of Kavadarci, inside the family home of the Popovi family, lies a winery that captures the spirit of domestic tradition and love for wine. It’s a small but heartwarming place where visitors immediately feel part of the family. The cellar, located in the basement, is carefully designed and full of character, while the tasting room brings everyone together around a single large table.

Vision / Philosophy:
The Popovi family believes that wine is not just a drink, but a continuation of their story. Their philosophy is simple: wine must be made with love and attention, without compromise on quality. Each label is connected to a personal story or moment in their lives, making every tasting a journey through their family heritage.
Their vision is to preserve and pass on the Macedonian winemaking tradition through small batches of wines with strong character, crafted with care and respect for detail.

Atmosphere:
A visit to Popovi feels like a private gathering with friends. The hosts personally welcome guests and guide them through the tasting, sharing stories about their family’s history and each label’s creation. The atmosphere is intimate and joyful, filled with laughter, conversation, and the aroma of home-cooked food.

Wines and Food:
The tasting includes several of their signature wines, notably Dark Horse Vranec, My Story, and The Photographer – each introduced with its own story and personality. The wines are paired with traditional Macedonian bread, local cheeses, cured meats, and other regional specialties. Often, a warm lunch is also served.

Guest Experience:
This is not a typical wine tour – it’s a true family experience. Guests leave feeling they’ve been part of something deeply personal and authentic, often gaining new friends along the way. The atmosphere is so warm that visits frequently last longer than planned.

Would you like me to make the style uniform across all wineries — for example, same structure, subheadings, and tone (to match your “Kamnik” and “Kartal” English versions)?
That way, you’d have a consistent, professional set ready for your wine tour website or brochure.
